Ramban Bridge will be ready by April this year

New Delhi : As per the reports from National Highways Authority of India-NHAI, the Ramban bridge work will be completed soon and it will be opened for citizens. To improve commuting experience on Udhampur-Banihal section of NH-44, 8 Highway Mini Nests have been operationalized. These nests offer refreshment facilities such as tea & snacks shop and a toilet complex for the Highway users.

The construction of 4-lane 1.08 km long Ramban bridge on Udhampur-Ramban Section of NH-44 is in full swing and is expected to be completed by 30th April’23.

This project will provide a bypass at Ramban town, reduce travel distance by 2.5 km and ease the traffic congestion in the area. The stitching unit of Jaiswal bridge on Udhampur-Ramban section, NH-44 in J&K has been completed and will be open to traffic by 20th March’2023.

In order to strengthen road safety and remove blackspots in Samba town on Jammu Pathankot section of NH44, a flyover at Mansar Morh Junction in Samba has been completed to facilitate traffic and prioritize safety of commuters.
