Online portal ready for Family ID in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the updated status of the ‘Family ID’ process being issued to each family unit of the state in a high-level meeting held on Wednesday and regarding making the benefits of this important scheme available to all families. Gave necessary directions.

The CM said that family ID is being issued in the state in order to resolve to connect at least one member of each family with employment. It is heartening that out of 78 thousand applications received so far, more than 33 thousand applications have been approved. Wide publicity should be given to this scheme. No family of the state should be deprived of this.

“under the One Family-One Identity scheme, a unique identity was being issued to each family, which would lead to the establishment of a live comprehensive database of family units in the State. This database will be helpful in better management of beneficiary schemes, timely targeting, transparent operation and 100% benefit of the scheme to the eligible persons and simplification of government facilities for the general public,” CM added.

He said that on the basis of integrated database obtained through Parivar ID, families deprived of employment can be identified and proper employment opportunities will be made available to them on priority.

At present, about 3.61 crore families residing in Uttar Pradesh are getting the benefit of the National Food Security Scheme. The ration card number of these families will be the family ID. While such families which are not ration card holders, they can get family ID by registering on the portal https://familyid.up.gov.in.

The CM said that the passbook of the family should also be prepared showing full details of the benefits of the government schemes being received by each family. With this, the campaign of self-reliance and empowerment of every family of the state will be completed. All the information regarding the family should be duly certified before issue of pass-book and family ID. All concerned departments should cooperate in this.

He said that all the residual beneficiary schemes run by the state government should be linked with Aadhaar notification and family ID. Along with this, new admission in ITI, polytechnic and other higher educational institutions should be made on the basis of Aadhaar and then linked with the family ID.

The Chief Minister said that after getting the database of all the schemes run with the help of the Central Government, it should be linked to the family welfare passbook and family ID.
