Steel Authority of India Records 14% Growth April-November 2025

New Delhi : Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) reported a sharp rise in sales during November 2025, recording 27% growth compared to the same month last year. Retail sales jumped 69% to 0.14 million tonnes (MT), up from 0.084 MT in November 2024.

The growth was driven by strong demand across product categories, improved distribution channels, and higher dispatches from warehouses. Notably, SAIL emerged as the top seller of TMT bars nationwide during the month.

Cumulative Growth April–November 2025
Building on this momentum, SAIL achieved 12.7 MT of cumulative sales between April and November 2025, marking a 14% increase over 11.1 MT in the same period last year.

Strategy Amid Global Challenges
The company credited its performance to a robust sales strategy and consistent market efforts despite global headwinds such as price pressures, demand fluctuations, and trade policy uncertainties.

Retail Channel Strength
Retail sales channels remained resilient, registering 0.97 MT during April–November 2025, up 13% from 0.86 MT in the corresponding period last year. SAIL highlighted that ongoing nationwide brand promotion campaigns have further supported this growth.
