Operation Sindoor: Rajnath Singh Issues Stern Warning to Pakistan, Lauds Indian Military

Jaisalmer : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a strong message to Pakistan during his visit to Jaisalmer on October 23, 2025, stating that the country will now “think twice” before attempting any misadventure against India. Speaking to soldiers during a Barakhana gathering, he emphasized that Operation Sindoor was only paused-not concluded-and warned of an even stronger response if provoked again.

A Display of Strength and Vigilance
“Our pilots gave only a demo of India’s power. If given the chance, they will show our real strength,” said the Raksha Mantri, reinforcing India’s readiness to respond decisively to any threat. He urged the Armed Forces to remain alert and proactive, noting that adversaries are never truly inactive.

Nation-Building Through Military Excellence
Rajnath Singh highlighted the Armed Forces’ role in achieving the government’s vision of a developed and self-reliant India by 2047. He praised the military not just as defenders of the nation but as key contributors to its progress. “This century is ours; the future is ours,” he declared, expressing confidence in India’s journey toward global military excellence.

Cultural Unity at Barakhana
The Defence Minister celebrated the Barakhana tradition as a reflection of India’s rich cultural diversity. “Our forces represent every religion, caste, language, and region. This unity is beautifully symbolized in a single plate during Barakhana,” he said, calling it a unique embodiment of India’s values.

Inauguration of Shauryavan and War Memorial Tribute
Earlier in the day, Shri Rajnath Singh inaugurated Shauryavan, a pioneering cacti-cum-botanical garden developed by the Indian Army in the Thar Desert. The garden stands as a symbol of resilience and ecological innovation.

He also paid tribute at the Jaisalmer War Memorial, part of the ‘Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan’ initiative. The memorial showcases war trophies and artifacts chronicling the Indian Army’s valor. A Holographic Light & Sound Show was unveiled, enhancing the site’s appeal as a national destination.

Upcoming Engagements
On October 24, the Raksha Mantri is scheduled to visit forward areas and witness a Capability Demonstration Exercise by Southern Command. He will also address the Army Commanders’ Conference in Jaisalmer.
