New Delhi : In one of the largest anti-narcotics crackdowns in recent years, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has dismantled a sprawling drug manufacturing and distribution syndicate operating across the National Capital Region. The multi-day operation, conducted from October 21 to 23, 2025, led to the seizure of narcotics worth over ₹108 crore in the international market.
Raids in Greater Noida, Gurugram, and West Delhi
Acting on precise intelligence, DRI officials raided a secret methamphetamine production unit hidden within a farmhouse near residential towers in Greater Noida. The raid resulted in the recovery of:
- 11.40 kg of Amphetamine
- 110.92 kg of precursor chemicals
Simultaneously, the alleged mastermind of the network was apprehended from his residence in Gurugram, where officers seized an additional 1.33 kg of Amphetamine.
High-Risk Operation in West Delhi
In a follow-up raid, DRI teams targeted a suspected distribution hub in West Delhi. Located in a densely populated area with narrow lanes, the operation faced resistance from local elements attempting to obstruct the search. With support from Delhi Police, the team successfully secured the premises and recovered:
- 7.79 kg Cocaine
- 1.87 kg Heroin
- 3.54 kg Amphetamine
- 2 kg Ganja
- 0.15 kg Methaqualone
- 4.50 kg precursor chemicals
- ₹37 lakh in cash, suspected to be drug proceeds
Total Seizure and Arrests
Across all locations, the operation resulted in the seizure of:
- 16.27 kg Amphetamine
- 7.9 kg Cocaine
- 1.8 kg Heroin
- 2.13 kg Ganja
- 115.42 kg precursor chemicals
A total of 26 foreign nationals were arrested during the coordinated raids.
