New Delhi, India : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Narmada district, Gujarat, on 15 November to take part in Janjatiya Gaurav Divas events and related development programmes.
Schedule and Ceremonial Programmes
The Prime Minister is scheduled to offer prayers at Devmogra Temple around 12:45 PM and will later travel to Dediapada to participate in the programme marking the 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
Projects to be Inaugurated and Laid Foundation
At Dediapada the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a package of infrastructure, health, education and heritage projects valued at over 9,700 crore, aimed at accelerating tribal development in the region.
Major Components and Community Benefits
The rollout includes the Grih Pravesh of 100,000 houses under PM-JANMAN and DA-JAGUA, the inauguration of 42 Eklavya Model Residential Schools worth about 1,900 crore, and the launch of 228 Multi-Purpose Centres to support community activities.
Connectivity and Education Initiatives
Plans also call for flagging off 250 buses for 14 tribal districts, laying foundation stones for 748 km of new roads, establishing 14 Tribal Multi-Marketing Centres, and starting construction of 50 additional Eklavya schools worth over 2,320 crore to strengthen education and market access for tribal areas.

Officials say the combined measures are intended to improve access to services, boost local economies, preserve tribal heritage, and enhance socio-economic opportunities for communities across tribal districts in Gujarat and beyond.
